For the 8th year running, the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO) has launched the “Run for a New Start” fundraising campaign, as part of the Ottawa Race Weekend (May 27-28, 2023), and we are grateful for runners and walkers who have joined our fundraising team!
Our goal is to raise $16,000 for OCISO’s Youth Program. YOCISO programs are specifically designed to assist immigrant youth, ages 13 to 24, with their settlement and integration process. Through this process, youth gain the necessary skills to achieve their goals. They also develop a positive mindset to begin to overcome the challenges they may be facing, so that they can contribute to Canadian society.
If you are not able to participate in Run for a New Start on Race Weekend, but would still like to make a donation you can do so here:
You will automatically receive a tax receipt for donations of $10 or more.
