This program assists seniors from diverse communities to break down barriers, reduce isolation, maximize independent living, and enhance their quality of life by providing culturally specific community support services.
Services we provide include health and well-being education through workshops, training, and presentations, fitness activities, volunteer friendly home visits, telephone assurance calls, English language classes, technical support for operating smart devices and use of Zoom, skills development workshops such as painting, crafts, cooking classes, and gardening.
We provide transportation for medical appointments and caregiver support.
This project is an initiative designed to enhance the well-being of seniors. By focusing on financial and computer literacy, recreational activities, and health and wellness support, the project aims to empower seniors to lead fulfilling lives. Through partnerships, education, and community engagement, we seek to promote social connection, physical vitality, and financial security among older adults, while engaging to foster a sense of belonging and help with isolation.
