Michael Cheng is a psychiatrist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario; an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa, and the co-founder of eMentalHealth.ca, which provides information to families and professionals about mental health and wellness.
He helps families by reconnecting them to that which gives purpose, belonging, hope and meaning. He has a special interest in rediscovering strategies that traditional societies and parents have used for millennia.
As a post-pandemic parent of 2 school-aged children, Michael understands first-hand the challenges of raising kids in modern society.
Please note, during the keynote session a sign language interpreter will be on stage with Dr. Cheng. We have reserved seating for those who wish to utilize this interpretation service. Please email [email protected] to confirm seating. |
