Our dedicated staff works with senior citizens individually and in group settings to assist them to meet their settlement needs through the provision of multilingual and multicultural services. We work in collaboration with Jewish Family Services and other community service providers in order to address the gaps in the service provision.
We assist with:
• Addressing complex issues concerning immigration, housing, health, legal issues, finance and social needs.
• Providing assessment, information/orientation, consultation, supportive counselling, advocacy, translation/interpretation and referrals to other services in the community.
• Organizing English conversation groups in different locations.
• Organizing various social group activities and field trips for seniors from diverse cultural and linguistic origins.
